Adding to the overall exclusiveness and professionalism of the website is the prominence of suttle changes of light. Notice the outer glow of text and gradients of horizontal lines.

The answer is Absale is an English surname. We are not selling abs or anything!

The main problem is finding a web partner is finding someone who is compatible with yourself. A person whose skills make up for your weaknesses or improve on your strengths. Think of it like this, if your strengths are SEO and traffic building, you want to team up with a web designer or web developer to produce a well-rounded website. 

In a recent episode, I was communicating with a guy who wanted to partner. His online appearance was someone who was doing well on the internet and had experience of creating successful websites. After he sent me a contract that looked like it was written by a 10 year old, I started to do a little research on him. It turned out he was basically creating a false identity and was desperate for someone to pay for his dedicated server. The thoughts of partnership ended right there. If you know some one offline, it may be advantageous partnering with them. Or, ideally, if you have the funds available, go for a freelancer. It works out better in the long term.

I'll start at the beginning. It was back in October 2007 when I saw triple.com promoting .com domains for $5.55. To test them out I registered one domain – istio.com. You cannot buy things outright on their website, you need to deposit funds. Now, the first annoyance, they deduct PayPal fees from your amount deposited without mentioning that it will deducted. So, my $5.55 became something like $5.20 and I have to deposit more in order to get this $5.55 domain name. Eventually I found out the fees by going to PayPal and added some extra funds. I now have an unusable 14 cents in my account.

 A couple of days ago I sold the domain on dnforum.com. I seemingly, and according to the account history, pushed the domain to the buyer's account. Done and dusted. Or, so I thought. 

 24 hours later and I receive a PM asking where the domain was!? The buyer had not received it. I asked him to check again and I checked to see if they had placed it back in to my account. No sign of it. The next step was to email support and get to the bottom of it. 48 hours later, no reply. So, I call them and there 24 hours phone support turns out to be an answering machine… Next option. "Live Support". Unfortunately there was no life in the live support.

Triple.com is like a ghost town, nobody around. I'm not the only person complaining either. NamePros search shows numerous similar troubles.

My only suggestion — avoid Triple.com 

So, how often should one update their content, and which pages should be updated? 

The Homepage is without doubt the most important page in terms of SEO. It's the door to your website, and Google & co. place emphasis on this. That's why whenever you search for popular keywords, it's rare to see a sub-folder listed on the first couple of results pages. There is not a definitive answer on how often to update content, but at least once a week should be fly enough for the search engine spiders.

The regularity of fresh content can impact not only your SERPS, but your return visitors also. People love something fresh and new (ask Governments ). Remember, the point of SEO is to increase your traffic, word-of-mouth / buzz can do this also. 

If you are not particularly keen writer (like myself, evidenced with this blog) you can use a few tools to bring life to your website. RSS feeds are the #1 source for fresh content. All you have to do is add a little piece of code, and viola! regularly updated content! Other options include adding a news section to your front page or having users write for you.

Let's open with GoDaddy. The biggest positive with GoDaddy is trust. On 2 counts – 1) you can trust GoDaddy to look after your domain 2) If you want to sell your domain, buyers like GoDaddy, buyers trust GoDaddy. Price-wise GoDaddy is relatively cheap – that is – if you can find a GoDaddy coupon. $7.15 for a .com, don't get suckered in to buying for $10.15! Other good aspects with GoDaddy are their help desk and support team. It's a big company and they are well structured to offer sound support.

Moniker is reputed as the most secure domain registrar. Personally, I found it an annoyance and hassle having to phone the company in order to verify my account. A simple email would have been sufficient. I like Moniker for registering .net, prices range from $5-6, that's cheaper than most places. Potential buyers like Moniker also.

The shining light out of all domain registrars is Name.com. $5.99 and cheaper .com registrations! Plus, their interface is actually enjoyable to use!
